Ezra (TBD) Hekman
Name meaning: Means “help” or “helper” in Hebrew
(1) His dad, Scott, who has been known as and suitably nicknamed a “helper” ever since he was a young boy. His Mom (Marcia) specifically has always doted on how quick Scott was/is to help. I pray that Ezra will be as quick and happy to help others as his Dad always is, as this always serves as a reminder to me of all the ways Jesus helps us in all things (Psalm 121).
(2) The prophet Ezra from the Old Testament Bible book of Ezra
“…this Ezra came up from Babylon. He was a teacher well versed in the Law of Moses, which the LORD, the God of Israel, had given. The king had granted him everything he asked, for the hand of the LORD his God was on him.” [Ezra 7:6]
Baby Ezra, we can’t wait to meet you! We pray that the hand of the Lord our God will be on you and that God will reveal the good news of Jesus to you as soon as possible for your everlasting joy. We love you so much already!
